It has been called "MOL Cup" since 2015, when MOL (owner of MOL and Pap Oil filling stations in the Czech Republic) took over the title sponsorship. The contract is valid for three years with a two-year option.
Approximately 135–150 clubs are involved in the MOL Cup, including teams from professional and lower leagues. In some years, the starting number has exceeded 135 clubs.
Television coverage: guaranteed at least 7 live matches during the season, including the final, semi-finals and quarter-finals.
